Fresh fleet graphics for Inter City Logistics
As part of the UK & Ireland’s leading signs and graphics franchise, Signs Express (Macclesfield) recently worked on a brand-wide contract with Inter City Logistics to fit their new fleet of vans with vehicle graphics.
With our centre being based in Macclesfield, throughout the fit we liaised with our nearest Inter City Logistics branch in Crewe. After several online meetings discussing the signage required, we worked with our customer to put together a plan to cover the new vans once they arrived.
We faced some logistical challenges as the install had to be completed at our client’s premises to ensure the vehicles were off the road for as little time as possible. But thanks to Simon and Michael Briggs from Inter City Logistics, who were very helpful in making sure the vehicles were made available for us to apply the graphics, all went very smoothly.
Along with the vehicle graphics, we also helped provide signage for their depot and miniature branded HGV vehicles for desks in the office. As with all our projects, but especially when providing numerous different types of signage, we took special care to ensure all our products aligned with the brand guidelines provided.
Taking signage from just an idea on a page to a large-scale reality can be a challenge – registration had to be precise, and everything needed to be scaled up and cut with utmost accuracy – but our client was extremely happy with the result as everything came together perfectly.
