Previously TT Electronics- Now Cicor, approached Signs Express Cardiff as part of their rebranding project. They needed to update their existing signage to reflect their new branding while maintaining a professional and cohesive look across their premises.

Project Objectives
The client needed a signage update to establish a consistent brand presence across the site. They wanted a durable, high-quality finish suitable for outdoor conditions and requested new adhesive vinyl graphics to their existing panels, giving their signage a modern, professional look without a full replacement.
Our Solution
We developed a signage solution that refreshed the clients branding whilst keeping costs and disruptions to a minimum. Our approached included:
- 3D built-up halo-illuminated letters on a back tray
- Applying premium adhesive vinyl graphics to the existing panels to create a fresh and updated look.
- Installing self-coloured 5mm acrylic lettering, mounted to the wall with nylon stand off locators for a professional finish.
- Ensuring precise colour matching to maintain consistency across all signage.

Challenges & How We Overcame Them
One of the primary challenges was making sure the vinyl graphics stuck properly to the existing powder-coated aluminium panels.
To overcome this, we prepared the surface thoroughly to improve adhesion. We used durable outdoor vinyl to ensure it would last. During installation, we carefully aligned everything for a neat and professional finish.
