Signs Express Dartford has collaborated with Flow 3 Drains for over a decade, providing high-quality vehicle graphics. Over the years, we've helped evolve their designs to maintain a fresh, professional, and distinctive look.
Recently, Flow 3 Drains approached us seeking a refresh for their vehicle fleet. They requested a design that moves away from the plain green and opting for something that not only stands out but also resonates with their London-based clientele.

Design Objectives
- Evolution from the plain green look: The client wanted to break away from the simple green design they had been using.
- Incorporate British Identity: As Flow 3 Drains operates largely in the London Borough, they wanted a design that subtly incorporated a British identity.
- Durability and Quality: The materials used needed to withstand daily use across the city.
- Consistency Across Fleet: This vehicle is part of a fleet that will be updated with a similar design across all vehicles.
Our Approach
We took a two-fold approach, combining a sleek, modern visual with British pride.
- Graphics Update: We utilised laminated MDX cast vinyl for the lower sections of the vehicle and for the âFlow 3 Drainsâ branding. The vinyl is eye-catching and durable, perfect for vehicles that are constantly on the move.
- British Flag Detail: One of the standout features of the new design is the incorporation of a British flag detail. This addition brings a sense of local identity that resonates with Flow 3 Drainsâ London-based customer base.
- Text and Tagline: For the tagline, âThe Complete Drainage Service,â we used high-quality white cut vinyl. The crispness of the white text against the silver and green backdrop ensures the message is clear and visible from a distance.

The completed design met all of Flow 3 Drainsâ requirements. The combination of modern graphics, British symbolism, and durable materials gave the fleet a refreshed, bold look. The project is ongoing, with two more vehicles set to be completed in the coming months.
