Objectives

Survey & Planning
To meet these objectives, Signs Express Telford proposed a vertical sign to be installed on the side of the building, ensuring it would achieve maximum impact. The project began with a thorough survey of the building to determine the best location and size for the sign. Through this survey, the team identified the side of the building as the optimal spot for visibility and impact.
Design
The next step involved designing the artwork for the sign, incorporating Portion Solutions’ branding and colour guidelines. To help the client visualise the final outcome, Signs Express Telford created a superimposed image of the sign on the building. This visualisation allowed Portion Solutions to see how the sign would look once installed, ensuring they were satisfied with the design.
Materials & Fabrication
For the materials and fabrication, Signs Express Telford used fabricated aluminium for the 3-dimensional text, providing durability and a premium look. An aluminium tray sign was also fabricated, and both elements were powder-coated to match the customer’s colour specifications.
Installation
Given the large size of the sign, installation had to be carried out in sections. Signs Express Telford utilised access and lifting equipment to safely and effectively position the sign on the building. The installation process was executed with precision to ensure the sign was securely and correctly mounted.
The Outcome
The resulting sign turned out exactly as planned: large, stylish, and very noticeable. Installed vertically on the side of the building, it stands out and makes the factory easy to identify, perfectly matching Portion Solutions' brand guidelines.
