800 Signs For Melton Borough Council!
Signs Express Leicester & Loughborough were happy to help Melton Borough Council who, having renewed the Council’s Public Space Protection Order (PSPO), needed new signage across the town’s streets and villages of the borough.
The Brief
Melton Borough Council contacted Signs Express Leicester & Loughborough to create new signage which focused on dog control and responsible dog ownership throughout the borough. In particular, the Council wanted to focus on dog fouling and encouraging owners to clean up suitably after their pets.
The Signage Solution
We worked alongside Melton Borough Council to design two new signs, one for dog waste and responsible dog ownership, and another excluding dogs from children’s play areas.
To ensure the signs’ longevity, it was agreed to produce from aluminium and protect the print face with anti-graffiti laminate.
The Final Result
With a map of the borough supplied by the Council, we headed out to install the newly printed aluminium plate signs. With almost 800 to install to lamp posts and play areas across the town and surrounding villages, we got a thorough tour of Melton borough!
The signage looks great - clear and informative, and we were happy to be of service to the Melton community.
