Royal & Derngate's Youth Theatre have announced that their forthcoming 'remix' of a Shakespeare classic, A Mini Midsummer Night's Dream on Sunday 28 April will be sponsored by the local branch of Signs Express.
The show takes place during the run of the theatre's Made In Northampton production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, which is staged in the Royal Auditorium from Friday 19 April to Saturday 11 May. A Mini Midsummer Night's Dream will be performed by the Youth Theatre on the Royal stage for one night, using the professional sets, and will be a remixed, reworked celebration of magic, silliness and love. Based in Brackmills Industrial Estate, Signs Express are Northamptonshire's local signmakers and vehicle graphics experts, with a team of experienced fitters producing everything from simple cut vinyl graphics to full-scale vehicle wraps. They offer a complete range of high quality interior and exterior signs, banners and window graphics, tailored to all budgets. Signs Express (Northampton) MD Mark Meadowcroft, who attended Royal & Derngate's Youth Theatre as a youngster, said that the company was 'proud' of its association with the theatre. 'Most of our signmakers join us as teenagers. We teach them to do a job that requires discipline, hard work, skill and creativity in equal measure. Given that, it's no surprise that we support Royal & Derngate when they ask exactly the same of young people.' A Mini Midsummer Night's Dream is staged at Royal & Derngate on Sunday 28 April at 7.15pm. Tickets are priced at £7, and can be booked by calling the Box Office on 01604 624811 or visiting www.royalandderngate.co.uk.
