Burntisland Fabrications

Signs Express (Falkirk) has completed the manufacture and installation of 124 sign panels for Burntisland Fabrications (BiFab) to be used at 30 off-shore wind farms.

Due to extreme weather conditions the best signage products were sourced and produced on 3mm marine grade aluminium, faced with 3M high intensity reflective sheeting and 3M graphic film text. BiFab currently operate 3 fabrication facilities in Scotland: Burntisland in Fife targeting oil & gas projects, Arnish on the Isle of Lewis which deals with renewable energy projects and Methill in Fife which also targets the renewable energy but specifies on wind energy. When complete, the wind farms will generate up to 500 gigawatt hours of electricity every year.
