The Client
Hangar 510 at Biggin Hill Airport has been our valued client for several years. We have collaborated on various rebranding projects, building relationships based on trust, expertise, and consistency. When new tenants, Jetex and JETMS, required branding solutions for their airport facility, they again turned to our team to execute their vision.
The brief involved the design, production, and installation of several large illuminated signage pieces and printed wall graphics for the airport's interior. The scope of work demanded precision, safety, and a skilled team to ensure timely delivery and a flawless result.

Exterior Signage
Two Illuminated Flexface Signs (9000mm x 2500mm)
These massive illuminated signs were mounted on flat cladding with an outer powder-coated frame and extra vertical support bars for added stability. The LED lighting was installed on flat cladding, face fixed, and bolted securely through the building with aluminum angle clamps to withstand various weather conditions.
One Illuminated Flexface Sign (4440mm x 1500mm)
Similar in construction, this smaller sign required the same attention to detail and stability, complete with powder-coated framing, LED lighting, and vertical support bars for durability.
Interior Graphics
Printed Wall Graphics:
We installed striking printed wall graphics in the interior of the airport’s airplane hangar. These graphics were designed to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the space and reflect Jetex’s brand identity.
Special Requirements
To install the signage onto the exterior cladding, our team utilised specialised interior scaffolding that extended 20 metres in length.
Access to the installation sites required the use of cherry pickers and scissor lifts, ensuring both the safety of the team and the successful completion of the project in a complex, large-scale environment.

The sheer size of the signs and the need for precision in their installation posed significant logistical challenges. However, with our fully trained team of installers, we were able to deliver on time without compromising on quality.
Safety and Equipment
Given the height and scale of the project, ensuring the safety of our crew was paramount. Our use of appropriate access equipment and specialised scaffolding ensured both safe and efficient installation.

The entire project, including production and installation, took approximately 1.5 weeks on-site.
