Signs Express (Warrington) commissioned to rebrand another shopping centre
Signs Express (Warrington) adds another shopping centre rebrand to their portfolio, having previously assisted Cockhedge Shopping Centre in a complete rejuvenation as well as Birchwood and Runcorn Shopping Centres in the past.
With their extensive experience in rebranding, Signs Express (Warrington) were sought after all the way away in Edinburgh for the re-brand of Waverly Mall, previously Princes Mall. The £4 million transformation of Waverly Mall has already seen the 84,000-sq ft centre located next to Waverley Station, have its ceilings restructured and aisles widened. Signs Express (Warrington) place the cherry on top of the cake by installing brand new signage throughout giving the mall the sleek and modern image that owners, Catalyst Capital, wanted to achieve from the rebrand. With the agency setting the design, the team at Signs Express (Warrington) had the task of making these designs come to life, as well as ensuring that the install was thoroughly organised to cause the least disruption possible. The entire project comprised complete rebrand of the external signage with built-up LED illuminated letters and logo and additional internal branding and wayfinding signs. The entire project took eighteen months to complete, from the initial contact with the agency through to the installation. The install itself took four weeks and required a combination of scaffold towers and scissor lifts to complete, as well as consultation with both the local authority and the tram operator in Edinburgh due to the proximity of the tram lines.
