Signs Express Warrington were proud finalists at this year's Signs Express convention, held at the Radisson Blu hotel in Derby on Friday 8th November. They received double recognition for their entries in the Best Vehicle Graphics and Franchisee of the Year categories.
Signs Express Warrington, entered their work for Mark Thompson Transport into the Best Vehicle Graphics category. The centre approached the company as they were able to offer 3M approved vehicle wrapping, which is highly regarded in the industry. Working within both tight timescales and budget, the Warrington team took on the challenge, wrapping four Scania tractor units within the week. Having shown their quality of work and commitment to their customers, Signs Express Warrington has since wrapped all forty cabs for the company. Mark Thompson Transport is now one of the biggest independent transport companies in the North West and directly attributes their growth to the presentation of their fleet. The scale and professionalism of the job wowed the judges who awarded Warrington with their place as finalists. The centre also scooped a nomination for Franchisee of the Year. Despite the tough economic climate, the Warrington team have continued to push their business forward, winning some impressive contracts throughout the year. The Warrington sign makers are also committed to upholding the business values of Signs Express and move from strength to strength through their team work and dedication. Craig Brown, Managing Director of Signs Express commented: 'Alvin and David's dedication to their business has earned them a fantastic reputation locally and they are an asset to the network. They continue to uphold the Signs Express values whilst focussing on strong customer relationships and quality products.' The convention, which was based around the theme 'working together to make the boat go faster', consisted of seminars and speakers during the day followed by an awards dinner and evening entertainment. The Warrington sign makers, who fought off competition from other centres in the 70 strong network, were delighted with their highly coveted nominations. Alvin and David Morris opened the Warrington Signs Express centre in March 1995 and are now firmly established as one of the major sign companies in the area. Due to continued growth, the team have relocated to larger premises in recent years, allowing them to increase their offering.
