Welcoming franchisees from their 70 centres across the UK and Ireland, the convention was a huge success, celebrating past achievements and looking towards the future, a notion supported by their futuristic space themed evening event. In a change to the usual voting process, the awards were voted for by the franchisees for the first time ever, making this a true reflection of the centre's talent. The blind vote for the sign awards took place at lunchtime on the day of the convention with the entries displayed on boards lining one of the walls at the conference. The Best Sign Project category received a large amount of high quality entries and so this became a much sought after award! Signs Express (Birmingham SW) entered their project for building contractors DSP on behalf of ADLI. To help support ALDI's many new stores they were expanding their head office operation and have recently completed construction of a new multi storey car park at their head office. The Bromsgrove based team were commissioned to supply and install three bespoke designed and fabricated car park counter signs which are illuminated and house LED screens. The results are bright and eye catching, ensuring visitors are able to find their way around. Signs Express managing director Craig Brown commented: 'It's fantastic that one of our centres is working with such a huge, nationally recognised company and the signage they have provided is of a fantastic quality. Great work!' Signs Express (Birmingham) is ideally located in Bromsgrove. The custom designed centre was opened in 2006 by Joe Smith who provides a full range of signs and graphics solutions to the local area with the help of his loyal and dedicated team.
