These units are BMW Charger Points that are for promoting and supporting the new BMW i3 and BMW i8 models respectively.
The units started out as white before the work began, but the team wrapped a Pantone colour matched cast vinyl on the units and fitted a redrawn plug design and BMW brand graphic. The work was done at the BMW Engine Plant at Hams Hall near Birmingham and also BMW Mini in Oxford.
