Revitalising a redundant space
Signs Express Exeter recently worked with Exeter City Football Club to optimise the use of space at Cliff Hill, as part of a continuing effort by the club to update their premises and improve their offering.
Looking at an area of the club that had become a redundant, empty space with no particular use, the Signs Express team applied our knowledge of signage and graphics to turn the space into a functional media area used for interviews and to promote the club and key sponsors.
Identifying the right signage solution
After discussions of the project requirements with the club’s COO Justin Quick and Media & Communications Manager Scott Palfrey, we assessed the potential of the space in an initial survey and identified the signage solutions that would best suit its new purpose as a dedicated media area.
A key part of the survey was to identify the correct positioning of the signage taking into consideration camera angles and interviewer seating to ensure the best visual result.
Enhanced functionality, look and feel
Accompanied by crisp design work by Scott Palfrey, Signs Express printed and installed the signage, and the end-result transforms the space into both a functional area and one that enhances the look and feel of the space.
We were delighted to work with the club and their team on this project and look forward to seeing our local club continue to progress in so many areas.
