When Exeter City Council required signage for their new free to use electric car charging points in several city centre car parks, they called on Signs Express (Exeter) to help.
The points are placed across the city in an effort to encourage more people to use electric cars. With this type of vehicle having zero tailpipe emissions, the Council hope the move will in time improve air quality in the city, as well as being a positive step for the environment in general. Along with the charging points, Exeter City Council has also further underlined their green credentials by purchasing two Nissan LEAF electric cars for use as pool cars by council staff. Signs Express (Exeter) was called upon to provide signage for the charging points which they manufactured and installed for the Council, along with vehicle graphics for the pool cars. Commenting on the work they have completed, Marion Baxter-Sibley, Director of Signs Express (Exeter) said: 'We were delighted to be part of this project which is fantastic for the local environment, we look forward to seeing more electric cars around the city!' Established in 1995, Signs Express (Exeter) provides a full range or signs and graphics solutions to Exeter and the surrounding areas. The centre has a long track record of work with prestigious local organisations and prides itself on offering fantastic customer service along with quality products.
