Signs Express (Plymouth) recently completed a signage project, including exterior and interior signs, for St Luke's Hospice Plymouth head office at Turnchapel.
St Lukes' Hospice provides care and support for patients and families in Devon and surrounding areas. Their vision is to create a community where no person suffers alone or in distress. Founded in 1982, they have been providing specialist end of life care to the local community for more than 30 years. Having grown from a seven bed unit at Syrena House in Plymstock to the purpose built 12 bed Inpatient Unit in Turnchapel, along with the specialist community service and hospital team, St Luke's has a strong presence locally and is a very well respected establishment.
Signs Express (Plymouth) was commissioned to supply and produce wall graphics which were added to the entrance of the specialist unit at Turnchapel to give patients and their visitors a bright and warm welcome to the building. The design features a short narrative to demonstrate that St Luke's care spreads beyond Turnchapel, into people's homes and at Derriford Hospital.
Communications and Marketing Manager at St Luke's Hospice Plymouth, Robert Maltby said: "We are so pleased with the finished designs. They're bright, colourful and very welcoming for our patients and visitors. Thank you Signs Express, another great project complete".
Signs Express (Plymouth) has been working with St Luke's Hospice for some time and have developed an excellent working relationship with the team, Chris Reilly, owner of Signs Express (Plymouth) said: 'We're always delighted to be able to help St Luke's with their signage projects. They provide such fantastic care and support to vulnerable people and we understand how important it is for both the staff, the patients and their families to be welcomed by a warm and friendly environment whilst also providing clear signs and messaging.' Chris is showing his continued support for the charity by raising valuable funds for the Hospice by taking part in a three peaks yacht race on 17-19th June. If you're able to sponsor Chris, he would very much value the support. You can donate here https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Chris-Reilly7 The South West three peaks adventure race is taking place between 17-19th June and is for teams of sailors and cyclists/runners. There will be a team of six taking part – four sailors and 2 cyclists/runners who are tackling the land challenges together.
