Signs Express Reading is sponsoring the ReadyBike Digital Art Competition which is to run alongside the Reading Arts Week, an annual event now in its seventh year.
Reading Arts Week this year will be hosted at the 3B's Reading Town Hall from Monday 29.06.15 to Sunday 05.07.15. To celebrate the first anniversary of ReadyBike RDG, organisers have arranged a digital art competition to be sponsored by Signs Express. ReadyBike RDG are the towns public bike hire scheme, funded by the Department of Transport and ran by Hourbike Ltd, with 200 bikes available across the borough and 27 docking stations around Reading. To take advantage of this initiative all you need to do is simply register on their website. The ReadyBike Digital Art Competition is now open for submissions, until midnight on the 14.06.15, from local amateur and professional artists and artisans above the age of 16 providing they live or work in the area. The cost to enter up to two pieces of work is £12 and there is no charge for full or part-time students, visit here to submit your artwork. The winner will see their artwork on the mudguards of 12 bikes, which Signs Express Reading will print and apply.
