Two team members at Signs Express Reading have recently completed their International powered access federation (IPAF) training, enabling them to safely work with a wide variety of powered access equipment.
Ongoing training and development is crucial within the sign making industry, and the investment in staff means the offering from the Centre can be much greater along with enhancing credibility and professionalism in the marketplace. Jacob Thomas and Tim Wallbridge undertook the course, which lasts one to two days and is a mixture of theory and practice, with a written and practical test at the end. Successful trainees, such as Jacob and Tim, receive a PAL Card (Powered Access License), a safety guide, a log book and a certificate. Signs Express Reading is delighted to have these qualifications in place, and is committed to expanding its offering and services to customers. The sign makers operate in and around Reading covering other areas such as Bracknell, Newbury, Thatcham and Wokingham.
