PASMA are the leading trade association for the mobile access tower industry, representing the interests of manufacturers, suppliers and users of mobile towers. They provide, oversee and govern the industry standard training scheme for the safe use of such equipment. Working at height can raise many serious health and safety concerns for both employers and employees not to mention customers who need the work completed on their premise with the reassurance correct safety procedures will be adhered to. The Work At Height Regulations Act 2005 specifies best practice legislations, but for many, the PASMA certificate and ID card are the only acceptable proof of competence to work at height safely and many companies refuse to use contractors without the qualification. We're delighted that both Andy and Jerzy completed the PASMA course; it's another rung on our ladder – which they can now climb safely! Jerzy has also completed an IPAF (The International Powered Access Federation) course, which provides full training and technical advice on the effective use of powered access equipment worldwide. Not to mention that he has also recently completed his CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) H&S test towards his CSCS cards (Construction Skill Certificates).
