Signs Express is delighted to welcome Craig Tiley to its network as he takes over the Stoke branch from the previous franchisee, Chris Gallon. Chris is retiring after working for 45 years, 15 of which have been spent as owner of Signs Express Stoke. Craig took over the Stoke branch in September and has hit the ground running, with Chris staying on for a few weeks to ease the transition for staff and Craig.
Craig was a Logistics Specialist Royal Engineer in the Army prior to joining the Signs Express family and has had some experience with sign making during his career. As a result, Craig was drawn to the Signs Express franchise as a great way to start his own business. He first came across Signs Express when visiting a popular sign forum; it was here that he talked to Craig Brown, Managing Director of the Signs Express Franchise, about the resale opportunities available, prompting his introduction to Chris Gallon. Craig has toured all over the World with the Army, but with a young family he is looking forward to establishing his roots. He is still a member of the Army Reservists and intend to leverage on his relationships with his former colleagues to help grow the business as well as developing the loyal customer base that Chris has built up over the last 15 years. Craig Brown commented: 'I think Craig's enthusiasm and previous experience will serve him very well as owner of Signs Express Stoke. He's already expanded his sign making team and invested in new kit, as well as forging new customer relationships, so the future looks very bright for Craig and the centre.' Signs Express Stoke works with a variety of customers, covering areas in and around Stoke, such as Newcastle-Under-Lyme and Uttoxeter.
