Going above and 'BEYOND'
We are delighted to announce our participation in the Celebrity Beyond launch event, with the production and installation of the showcase LED sign seen in many of the press pictures.
Celebrity Beyond Illuminated Sign
Transforming Associated British Ports City Cruise terminal for the inaugural sailing on the Celebrity Beyond and providing the backdrop for the now world-wide tradition of plaque exchanging, which took place in front of the backdrop with Captain Kate McCue and Port Director Alastair Welch.
The team also produced and installed additional event signage to complete the project which included interior banners, exterior lamppost banners and directional signage and check-in desk graphics and signs.
Our continued work with design company Front Page, previous work with Celebrity Cruises and other businesses at the Port of Southampton led to our instruction on this piece of work. Graham Wright who is Head of Commercial and Operations said ‘The Celebrity Beyond event was a huge success and the engagement in our port activation throughout the whole week was so rewarding to see. Our amazing production partners at Sign Express Southampton did a fantastic job as always. José and all the team produced amazing quality graphics and signage for us throughout the cruise terminal. They installed everything with care, attention and dedication to ensure every aspect was covered. Topped off with the amazing Celebrity Beyond logo as part of our flower wall, they truly went above... and Beyond!’
The Celebrity Beyond is the latest in the Celebrity Cruises fleet and Signs Express (Southampton) are proud to have now been involved in two of the launches, after providing event signage for the Celebrity Edge cruise in 2019. The work for this project won top spot in the Best Sign Project category at the 2019 Sign Awards.
