Our Work
City Gateway 14-19 Provision
City Gateway, a charity dedicated to the provision of facilities within the Tower Hamlets area of London, recently commissioned Signs Express (Harlow) to supply and install an array of new signage for its buildings housing its 14-19 Provision.
The organisation - the first alternative education provider in London to be awarded Free School Status by the Department of Education, worked closely with the team at Signs Express deciding upon modern clean-cut signage. This was to be manufactured from acrylic and aluminium composite, all digitally printed to incorporate the organisation's branding. Floor and site plans, directional signage, internal door signs, outdoor signs, window graphics and a 4 metre curved sign were supplied and installed by the Harlow team. City Gateway 14-19 Provision, established in 2012, is an alternative provision provider for 14-19 year olds generally commissioned by schools and local authorities to provide statutory education to disengaged or hard to reach learners who are at Key Stage Four. 16-19 year old learners undertake pre-employment courses designed to prepare them to enter employment through Apprenticeships. This is the most recent project of the charity which also runs women's projects, youth training, a youth club and a social enterprise club, all with the aim of providing hope and opportunity to the disadvantaged within the local community.
