Latton Park - the new home of the RAMS
Having spent over 50 years located at Ram Gorse, Harlow Rugby Club has now relocated to a purpose built facility in the centre of Harlow named Latton Park. Signs Express Harlow worked alongside the main contractor Hutton Construction, also liaising with the club officers, to supply an array of branded external signage.
This included large panel and post signs at the entrance to the club together with the distinctive Harlow RUFC brushed stainless steel lettering featuring on the gabion wall. As the new clubhouse was handed over to the trustees of the club in September 2017, Signs Express continued to work with the club designing, supplying and installing an array of interior signage including door signs, wayfinding signage and acrylic displays as well as further signs to direct players, staff and supporters around the pitches and club premises. The latest addition has been the installation of 20 aluminium panel and post signs at pitch side featuring sponsors' details along with 3 much larger signs displaying the main sponsors' credentials - solicitors Whiskers LLP, estate agents Geoffrey Matthews and commercial vehicle repairers Harlow Truck Centre. The new club is a purpose built facility using the very latest design techniques inside and out, comprising 4 adult pitches and 2 mini pitches, floodlights to training and 1st XV pitches and a two-storey clubhouse. All guidelines provided by the RFU and Sport England are incorporated resulting in a fantastic facility for members and the local community. The club status as a Community Amateur Sports Club also supports other 'not for profit' organisations within Harlow that require a base. Such is the quality of the new club facilities, that Latton Park was chosen to host the international rugby match between England Deaf and New Zealand Deaf early in November 2017.
