Stephen and Ben Hall, owners of Signs Express Central Lancashire have recently been recognised for their excellent work for clients across Preston, Blackpool and Blackburn.
Signs Express Central Lancashire not only went home with the Most Striking Design or Sign award but were also nominated as finalists in two other categories! Their installation of the highly creative designs created for Moor Park School was voted by the UK’s largest sign and graphics company’s network of over 65 centres as the most striking in the category. During the project, wall coverings, window displays and staircase wallpaper was installed at various locations at Moor Park School and Sixth Form College, including stunning ‘stained glass’ style window graphics that tied in with the existing designs. Matt Rutlidge of Signs Express Central Lancashire commented: “Working in schools is always rewarding and because we worked in the holidays we knew the new wall and window displays would be a big surprise for students. At Moor Park School, we had to fit a difficult wallpaper installation on staircases, create a stained-glass window effect to match the existing décor on new windows and work some uneven fixing surfaces. We have created a signage scheme that will stand the test of time and is very durable.” The Moor Park School project was also voted as a finalist in the Best Interior Sign category, with the Preston-based sign company’s work for the Preston Bus Station refurbishment also coming in the top three final projects voted for in the Best Sign Project category.
