For the third year in a row, the UK’s leading signs and graphics company, Signs Express, which is headquartered in Norwich, are supporting the Lap of Anglia – a gruelling 400-mile cycle ride in 4 days to raise much needed funds for the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA).
Craig Brown, Managing Director of the Signs Express franchise, took part in 2015 and 2016 and this year, has volunteered to drive one of the Signs Express liveried support vehicles. Craig had this to say, “This event is excellent every year, well organised and ran, but the thing that makes it really stand out as an extraordinary charity event is the determination and dedication all of the cyclists show! It’s a gruelling task and one they all approach with a smile.” The event, which has been running for the past four years, has raised more than an impressive £60,000 for the EAAA since its establishment. This year, the Lap will begin at 8am on 16th August in Kings Lynn and will be returning there on the evening of 19th August after an epic 400-mile trip. Damien Cross, organiser of the Lap event stated, "I'm delighted to have seen the Lap of Anglia grow since 2013, giving more and more generous cyclists a chance to work hard and raise funds for East Anglian Air Ambulance. That continued growth is thanks in no small part to generous sponsors, suppliers and partners like Signs Express, and especially Craig Brown himself who has suffered his fair share of hours on the saddle over the years!" Keep your eye out for the cyclists on the roads around East Anglia in August and give them a cheer.
